Art Kell is a poet, writer, and author from Detroit, Michigan, whose work is distinguished by its structural clarity and thematic depth. With over five years of experience in architectural engineering, he brings a disciplined, design-oriented perspective to his writing, shaping narratives with precision and intentionality.
Art’s body of work includes poetry, short fiction, and his debut novel, Forest of Feasts, where he explores layered voices and complex themes. He developed his writing foundation at Tennessee State University, completing coursework in Technical Writing, American Literature, and Creative Writing (Poetry), and later earned his bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering.
In addition to his professional and creative pursuits, Art enjoys staying active through sports, including golf and tennis.
